Overview - producing a book of poetry
This is your project.
We work for you. It is to our mutual benefit to see that this project goes exactly the way you want it and the end product is your book of poetry, available for all to see and enjoy.
In this overview, we outline what you can expect from this system. We hope that we have anticipated your questions. If you have other concerns, please contact us.
The way this system works is as follows (we will offer suggestions whenever you wish them):
You signup by completing an information form and submit your payment to us.
We assign you a contact person who will supply you with a direct phone number that you can use throughout this project.
We set up a password protected section of our computer system that is dedicated to your project. In this section, we will store all the work that you and we generate along the way.
You will submit your poems to us.
We will edit them for you and bring to your attention anything that seems to have a question. It is up to you to do something or not as you see fit.
You create a title for your book.
You decide if you are using your pen name.
You decide on a cover design.
You decide which format for your book will serve you best including poem structure, sections, etc.
You decide on the color of paper. If you select from the standard options there is no extra charges.
You determine the typestyle and color to be used throughout the book.
You decide if you want optional artwork inside your book.
You decide if you want a table of contents and an index section.
You decide if you want a section on yourself (commonly called About the Author).
We will act as your project manager throughout the process. We will then coordinate the actual printing processes as well.
Our routine includes printing one or two copies of the work before it is ready for final publishing. In this way, you can make certain that the finished product will look and feel the way you want it.
